Although the temperatures are below zero I still feel like wearing skirts and dresses and once again I couldn't help it! I cannot say this outfit here is keeping me very warm but it surely makes me twirl around the whole time! :)

How to wear a dress in the winter

Hey loves! I woke up today to another freezing snowy morning. The weather is so cold that the only way to wear a dress, which is my favorite thing to wear, is to layer it with really warm pieces just like I did for this outfit. :)

Dress: Handmade; Cardigan: Handmade (similar HERE); Hat: Handmade (similar: HERE and HERE); Scarf: Parfois (similar HERE); Purse: 5th Avenue; Boots: unlnown (similar HERE)

I am wearing a handmade dress that was a gift from a friend of mine and I love the length and the flare, because it gives it a beautiful retro vibe. The warm cardigan on top (you can find similar HERE) and the cute hat (similar HERE and HERE) were also handmade respectively by my grandmother and mom. :) I can never have enough knits! This is my most favorite scarf and I bought it from Parfois (similar HERE), the purse is by 5th Avenue and I don't remember where I got the boots (similar HERE). Hey loves! Do you remember the new Zara dress in my wardrobe I showed you last week? Well here's an outfit post finally! :)

As I wanted to keep the focus on the dress I decided on nude and golden accessories. The gorgeous floppy hat, bracelet, necklace and ring are all from H&M and the earrings are from Six. I am absolutely loving these riding boots I got from Nickels and I just cannot stop wearing them. Last but not least the leather bag was handmade.

The only way to dress like this right now is go by car to the mall... the weather in my country is horrible and so freezing and I cannot wait for spring!

Happy Friday, loves! My favorite thing to do on the weekend is watching Breakfast at Tiffany's while having my morning coffee and getting ready to go out. A few days ago I got very inspired by Audrey Hepburn's style there and by the menswear and came up with this outfit here!

I am wearing a shirt my dad gave to me, I love incorporating men shirts in my clothing! I think it looks so stylish! You can see me wearing this one HERE and HERE. The Capasca blazer quickly became a staple in my wardrobe as it goes with almost everything! The purse is from 5th Avenue and the hat is a gift from my lovely cousin! Simple and easy outfit the I absolutely love!

Last night I reached and passed the milestone of 600 followers! I've never thought my blog will grow so much! Thank you so much, loves, for being so supportive and sweet to me! You're my inspiration! The Great Designers: John Galliano vs. Bill Gaytten

The ones that have been reading my blog for a while may be know that John Galliano is my favorite designer! I just strongly believe he's a genius and he was not guilty of all charges, and even if he said anything he was drunk and he was provoked. Everyone that was there and all the people close to him agree he's not a racist, moreover right after the incident he went to a clinic, so he wanted to heal and get back on his feet. I also think that after saving the Dior fashion house of financial crash and being loyal to it for over ten years he deserved a much more respect and trust. My point with this post is not to defend the designer, neither to try to convince you I'm right. I just want to ask you one thing: do you like the Dior collections after Galliano was fired? Do you think they're really as good or the label is sinking and they need to find a good enough replacement (if one exists) as soon as possible?

Sneak Peek in my Wardrobe: Cozy in Turquoise

Hey loves! Lately it's been so cold around here you cannot imagine! Some people say it's boring dressing up in warm clothes but I don't think so! I actually love it! It gives me the opportunity to layer the pieces, to mix different fabrics and patterns, and of course to wear beautiful knits! You've probably noticed that many pieces I wear are handmade by my mom and some by me. This outfit is also entirely composed by my mom's designs!

I'm wearing one of my favorite colors - turquoise! The gorgeous skirt and knitted vest are made by my mom and the turtle neck is from Mango. The boots are Nickels and the purse is from Caprisa. You've seen me wearing this golden color necklace so many times already but I just love it! It's from H&M and the earrings that you can barely see in these pictures are from Six.

Hey loves! Last Friday I showed my new riding boots that I am totally obsessed with and couldn't wait to wear so here they are in an outfit finally!

In the freezing cold I'm wearing my favorite faux fur hat from H&M that I love! Every time I wear it I remember Ana Wintour's words: "There's always a way to wear fur!" This cute little jacket is from a thrift store and the label says Geiger collection. You almost cannot see but underneath I am wearing a cream Mango turtle neck. You can see I'm kind of crazy about neutrals and creamy colors! I got the warm leather gloves from a random accessories store. I just saw them on the window just waiting there for me and couldn't resist. :) The beautiful skirt and flower were made for me by my mom <3 You've seen the rest of the accessories I'm wearing many, many times. The golden collar is from H&M and the gorgeous purse, that is the most beautiful and coveted one I own is by Caprisa and I bought it when I was in Milan so it brings great memories! And of course last but not least, the boots! They're from Nickels and they're my new little treasures! How do you deal with the winter cold?

I also have one more question for you: I'm debating whether I should join Lookbook, Chictopia or Chicisimo... or all of them, so please let me know what do you think, which one do you use and recommend?

The Great Designers: Sarah Burton

Hey loves! It's the middle of the week and it's time for the designer spotlight! I am not going to say much today, I'm just gonna let the clothes do the talking.

Alexander McQueen was a genius! He was one and only and fashion will never be the same without him! But we should admit! Sarah Burton is doing a great job since she took over the label in May 2010.

She's one of five children and was raised in Manchester. She moved to London to study Print Fashion at Central Saint Martins and graduated in 1997. While doing her studies on of her tutors was McQueen's friend Simon Martins, who suggested her for one year placement at the fashion house.

"At the time, McQueen was based in a tiny studio in Hoxton Square. At the interview I remember Lee asking me 'Do you believe in UFOs?' And Trino Verkade, Lee's commercial right-hand, asking if I could do denim production. I did not have a clue!" she said.

Burton joined the label in 1996 as an intern and came back after her graduation. In 2000 she was appointed head designer of womenswear and was Lee McQueen's right hand up until his tragic death in February 2010. After working aside the legendary designer for more than 14 years she has a deep understanding of his vision and values.

In September 2012 She presented her first womenswear collection in Paris. It still had the McQueen spirit and elements but she added her own more feminine aesthetic. The designer says she's learnt everything she knows from Lee McQueen. Here's what she said when appointed head designer of the label:

"I thought: 'How would I ever begin to begin?' Lee's mind was so different to anyone else's. I knew there was no way I could pretend to be him; but I had to ask myself, what did Lee work for? For all this just to close down? I thought about what I wanted. What was best for me. Like many women my age, I do want children, but I came to think that that's not a reason not to take up a challenge. In the end I just decided to get on with it: do my best."

Hey, loves! I woke up today and saw that it's snowing again outside. The white fairy tale outside makes out for the winter cold! Plus I can wear my favorite cozy and warm sweaters! And here's another one of them!

I am wearing a sweater made especially for me by my mom <3 My warm Mango coat and just random leggings. The shoes and purse are both from Fifth Avenue and I got them last winter. As for the accessories the beautiful red fedora is from my favorite thrift store for designer clothes. The earrings are from Six and this is my favorite ring I've been wearing all the time lately and it's from H&M.

Ahhh... It's beautiful outside, yet I'm dreaming for warmer weather already.

Hey loves! I love IKEA! I don't just love it... I'm kind of obsessed... Ever since we have it in Sofia me and my mom go there at least once a month... or even more often! I feel like going there is always so much fun! Is that weird? Maybe it's a bit weird but anyways ... Here's an outfit I wore once we went there and this is actually my go to outfit when I don't have time to think about what to wear or just feel uninspired for some reason.

I'm wearing a Mango dress that I absolutely love and my rubber boots and huge bag that I got in the most magical place - Venice. Also the scarf is by Parfois, if you don't know the brand you should definitely check it out! They make accessories, shoes and purses and are just amazing, I absolutely love them! The knitted hat is of course handmade by my mom and you've seen it so many time but I cannot get tired of it!

Sneak Peek in my Wardrobe: "Furry" grey sweater

Hey loves! Happy new year! Have a really great one! Be successful fabulous and inspired and don't forget that the best is yet to come! I am back online after the holidays relaxed and motivated and here's my first outfit for 2012!

I am wearing my new cozy sweater that my grandmother made for me! I absolutely love it! It's so warm and fuzzy and the color is beautiful! On top of it is a Candie's faux leather vest that I borrowed from my cousin a long time ago but this is actually the first time I wear it. The jeans are by She and I love the classic color and cut. I am also wearing Bulgarian boots that I don't remember that brand of H&M sunnies, 5th Avenue purse and another hat made by my mom. This is such an unusual outfit for me as I normally dress much more romantic and girly. Let me know what you think!

Sneak Peek in my Wardrobe: Have a great year!

Hey loves! Are you ready to celebrate the arrival of the new year! I am so ready for 2012 and I am hopeful good things are coming! It is going to be an exciting year for me as I'm finishing my bachelor and my life's going to change a lot!

The thought that this is my last outfit post for 2012 is weird! My blog grew so much this year and I am so thankful for all of you who read it! It really means the world!

I am wearing my favorite Adilisk oversized sweater dress. I just love red so much I wear it all the time! Under it is a Fishbone top customized with the lace! I got the idea from a Mango blouse that I thought I could easily replicate. The hat is vintage and I just think it's so cute and warm! These are my most comfortable boots and I don't even remember where I bought them! Last but not least, you've seen my H&M golden cuff so many times! I cannot get enough of it!

Sneak Peek in my Wardrobe: Making Resolutions

Hey, loves! I am back after taking a short Christmas break to recharge my batteries! :) I had such a lovely time with my family and I am currently blogging from a distance as I am visiting my cousin during her vacations! I just love these times! I am planning on making a video haul on my Christmas gifts and many other things but all of this after New Years when I get home! :) I am working on a list of ideas and resolutions about my blog and youtube channel so this is the time to let me know what would you like to be seeing! :)

For now here's an outfit I wore to the Christmas Bazaar in my city before it was even snowing!

I am wearing a Mango basic turtleneck and my lovely retro Apart dress! The red coat is by Mexx and the gorgeous high-heeled Oxfords are from Vera Pelle! I love, love, love these shoes! This is the purse I wear the most because it's big enough to carry all my stuff around and it goes with almost everything! It's by 5th Avenue and you've seen it many many times before. And as for jewelry the earrings are from Six and the collar is from H&M.

Hey loves! Are you done with your Christmas shopping already? I am not anywhere near done but I started last evening! Me and my mom went to my favorite mall and got the first few! Pretending to be Santa is so much fun! :) Oh! And it just started snowing outside to add to my holiday mood! :)

I wore my favorite Alberta Ferretti inspired dress that I made and I am so proud of ! I have this gorgeous Dika blazer for a few months now and this is the first time I actually wear it! You will be seeing it much more often from now on! The fur is from H&M and I don't remember where I got the boots. The necklace and purse I am wearing are handmade. I decided on this necklace to add a little pop of color to the otherwise settle outfit!

The Great Designers: Marc Jacobs

Hey loves! It's a gloomy Wednesday and it's time for designer spotlight! Today it falls on my favorite American designer! Born in New York's Upper West Side in 1963, Marc Jacobs was raised by his fashion-conscious grandmother. As a teenager he immersed himself in a club culture, observing the cool fashionable girls at Studio 54, Mudd Club and Hurrah. Jacobs finished his fashion education at the prestigious Parsons School of Design and his graduation collection was noticed by Robert Duffy who remains his business partner to this day. The first Marc Jacobs collection was launched in 1986 and won a CFDA award the following year. In 1989 Marc Jacobs became head designer at Perry Ellis and left the company 3 years later. In 1997 he was appointed artistic director of Louis Vuitton, where Jacobs has enchanted the luggage company's image and re-positioned it as a ready-to-wear label. Meanwhile LVMH was supporting Jacobs' own company and in 2001 were launched Marc by Marc Jacobs and his first perfume, the first homeware collection was available in 2003.

When asked what's his all time favorite piece of any of his collections the designer says that it's not just about the clothing, it's about the right piece on the right girl, about the whole entire image and I couldn't agree more with him. To Marc Jacobs is really easy to create clothing that's edgy and sort of naughty and this is the reason he always likes the idea of doing something more intelligent. He defines design as a "series of creative choices" and although making them can sometimes be really hard and painful he says there's nothing else in the world he'd rather do! He says that the best feeling is to see a stranger wearing his designs because there's such a vast choice out there and this person choosing exactly the piece Jacobs made is the greatest price for all of the hard work!

I was thinking about posting images from the Spring 2012 RTW collection but as the weather outside is so dreary I'm in the mood for fall/winter pieces! It was too hard to choose favorites as I love all the 63 looks that I saw on the runway here's the entire show!

It's cold Sunday afternoon and there's nothing better to do than drink delicious hot chocolate and catch up on your favorite blogs! I've spent the last hour or two going trough the spreads I loved this week to choose my favorite and it's so incredibly beautiful! Cara Delevingne wearing gorgeous ivory gowns form great labels such as Givenchy, Dior, Versace and Alexander McQueen, which complement the unearthly landscape! Christmas DIY project

Happy Friday, loves! As many of you have probably noticed my mom is really talented and crafty. Last year she made really lovely and warm Christmas trees to decorate the apartment and just today remembered that she took a few pictures while working on them. As Christmas is behind the corner and it's time to use our fantasy and decorate I decided to share with you my mom's creative, cozy and beautiful DIY project!

What you need is 5 millimeters thick green felt, corrugated, acrylic paints, wooden beads, thin hemp thread, thick needle or an awl.

For the Christmas trees you cut as many triangles you want to use out of the green felt and and make the stump of the corrugated, painting it a little with an acrylic pain so it will look like wood. Then you sew the details together using the hemp and instead of hiding the ends you can make a little bows so your little Christmas tree will look even more natural and pretty!

For the decoration you just paint the wooden beads in different colors you like. You can make the tone uneven so one will be able to see the wooden base under the color! This way it will look even more eco-friendly. After the beads dry out you just thread them on the hemp and decorate the trees!

So in just a few easy steps you have this lovely decoration for you home or your gifts!

Hey loves! Today's a special day! All the student's in my country have a holiday, which for one last time includes me! :) So after this quick post I need to go figure out what to wear tonight! Exciting!

The total look is back in style so here's an all purple outfit! <3 I'm wearing a Terranova jacket (this is one ofthe really surprising treasures you can find there from time to time, skinny jeans by Only and my favorite rubber boots and purse I got when I was visiting Venice and of course the lovely hat and scarf made by my mom you've already seen!

Today it started snowing in my city for the first time this year! We're going to have a beautiful white Christmas after all!

The Great Designers: Matthew Williamson

Ever since his first collection in 1997 called "Electric angels" he became famous for his bold use of color. "He routinely splashes ultra pinks, florescent yellows and acid greens with an energizing flourish onto women's day and evening wear." The important catalyst hat made the whole fashion world pay attention to his work was celebrity. His pieces are all about "the intricate detail, contemporary styling and sexy silhouettes" and this successful recipe just keeps the applause coming.

Matthew Williamson was born in Chorlton, Manchester in, 1971 and graduated from one of the most prestige design schools - Central Saint Martins in 1994. Just two years later, in 1996, he set up his own label. Now selling to over 80 stores all over the world, the first flagship store opened in 2004 on London's Bruton Street.

Here are my favorite designs from the Fall 2011 RTW collection. And yes! I absolutely love the use of color and textures! What's better than mixing colorful light fabrics with fur and leather!

Hey loves! Yesterday I went out for a coffee with my lovely friends I met trough blogging! This is definitely one of the reasons why I love being part of this world so much! All the inspiring and incredible people I've got to know make it all much more special! After that I went to do a little bit of shopping and finally found the perfect black blazer! Here's what I wore for probably the last warm day of 2011.

I am wearing a skirt that used to belong to my mom and she was bored of it so I changed it up a little and it's mine now. The gorgeous sweater is from Mango and it's one of my favorites because it's very light and in the same time so warm. The shoes are from Vera Pelle , they look elegant and are also very comfortable because the heel is not too high. You've already seen my most beautiful purse by Caprisa and the accessories from H&M. Hey loves! Sometimes I really feel like going for classic lines and colors, sometimes I really feel like wearing timelessly elegant outfits just like this one!

I'm wearing my new favorite XDYE pants the look so elegant and go with everything and a white French Connection sweater. The coat was a gift so I am not sure about the brand but I absolutely love the military vibe it has without being too overpowering or manly. I got this hat in a boutique for thrifted designer clothing. The moment I saw it I just hat to get it! It's just so perfect and adds a fun pop of color to every outfit. You've already seen my high heeled oxford shoes. The purse is from 5th Avenue and the necklace is Swarovski.

And here's a picture with my dad who just loves to be featured! :)

The Great Designers: Barbara Bui

It's time for the Wednesday designer spotlight and today I chose the French-born Barbara Bui. Her first venture in fashion was the opening of a boutique named Kabuki in 1983. Originally it was a retailer of other designer's collections but Bui started to introduce some pieces of her own work and just four years later she presented her first collection to the international fashion press and this is how her main line was born. In the same 1988 she opened her first Barbara Bui shop in Paris. Ever since from the very beginning the core of her work have been strength and elegance. What Bui admires is femininity and the is emphasized by the use of delicate embroidery against block tonal leather. By 1998 her diffusion line, Barbara Bui Initials, was translating the classic style from the main line into daywear. In 1999 the designer temporarily moved her shows from Paris to New York before removing her collections all together from the catwalk. She returned to the Paris catwalks in 2004 with her signature fur leather and killer heels. Today Bui presides over 4 collection and shops in Paris, Milan and New York.

She defines her signature designs as balancing elegant simplicity with the freedom of rock'n'roll romanticism says that with her work she's trying to give an expression to a womanhood that is at once touching and true, fragile and fearless. The designer is inspired by encounters, music, films, thoughts, moments of grace, cities, women in general and soaking in the natural environment. What's very interesting is that the main influence to her career is an Yves Saint Laurent exhibition she visited in the very beginning of it. Beauty to her is "the simplicity of being: an innate beauty that is not dependent on the beholder."

Here are my favorite designs from the Fall/Winter 2011/2012 RTW collection. I love the structured, sexy and tough looks and the use of classic black, white and beige with metallic accents! Don't you?

Hey loves! Today I want to share with you a dress that I made myself inspired by the Alberta Ferretti Fall 2011 collection. The clean and elegant lines are in a perfect harmony with the material and color. Sometimes simplicity really is the key to brilliance ... even in fashion!

I am also wearing H&M bracelet, collar and floppy hat, that I absolutely love! I associate floppy hats with timeless femininity and I am so happy they are back in fashion! The purse you've seen a thousand times! It's my favorite not just because it's very beautiful but also because I bought it in my favorite city - Milan! The lovely and comfortable boots are by a local brand and are perfect for this weather!

The Great Designers: Jil Sander

Jil Sander is a name associated with pure fashion and clean lines. The German-born designer is famous for the development and use of high-tech, yet extremely luxurious fabrics and rigorously considered proportions, which gained her loyal customers among the sophisticated working women who value graceful, clean and elegant lines, instead of the obvious sex appeal.

Jil Sander launched her first collection in 1973 and opened her first store in Hamburg, at the age of 24. In her women's clothing she used fabrics typical for menswear, demonstrating androgynous aesthetic that became her signature. The designer says that her "ideas are transported trough the strict aesthetic proportional relationship of form, material and color." She believes that in fashion with every step you ultimate goal changes a little and this is the drive to continue, because if you achieve it, if you create the ultimate collection than it is all over. According to this inspiring woman you cannot produce beauty just for itself, it's created when all the parts are in a relationship to each other and is also connected with the dignity of the wearer, because both the ethics and the aesthetics are important for beauty.

The history of the company is very dynamic and interesting. In 1999 the Prada Group acquired a majority holding and the following year Sander left her own company. Milan Vukmirovic was appointed at the position of creative director of both men's and women's collection in November 2000. However, in 2003 Jil Sander returned to the company she founded for three seasons , but in November 2004 she exited the brand and the Prada group once again. The team of studio designers took over until May 2005 when Raf Simons was announced to be the new artistic director of the brand.

Hey loves! How are you today? I'm kind of sick and still in bed, so I hope you're doing better! :) I want to show you one of my favorite fall/winter outfits that I wear all the time when it's cold! The cozy oversized sweater/dress is entirely handmade by my talented mom and I absolutely love it! It's so warm and so versatile! I can wear it with so many different accessories! The hat was also made by my mom as well! :) I love the tights that I got in a random store, but the color and the detailing are just so beautiful! The lovely, girly gloves and scarf are from one of my favorite accessories brands - Parfois, and I bought the boots when I was in Venice! There's nothing better to wear on a rainy or snowy day than rubber boots!
