Superdry AW'15 Press Event

Hey lovelies!

How has your weekend been? Mine consisted of wine-drinking, book-reading and youtube-watching, all of it done under duvet of course. This is the perfect kind of weekend if you ask me!

Today I want to tell you about an event I went to last Thursday. Superdry were kind enough to invite me to their press event / AW'15 preview at the sleek Crock Bowling Alley, located in the Ham Yard Hotel. The cool eclectic mixture of neon sign and African inspirations provided a perfect background for Superdry's Autumn/Winter '15 collection.

I discovered the brand in 2012 when I moved to the UK for the first time and always associated it with great active wear. However, this year they pleasantly surprised me bringing party pieces and tailoring elements to the table without straying from their signature young and effortless vibe. Sequined dresses and skirts were paired with cozy cable knit jumpers and shearling leather jackets, little crystals sparkled playfully from winter beanies, tailored coats were layered over casual denim.

What stood out to me the most, however, was the leather. Soft and buttery the jackets felt like a second skin that moves with you rather than the stiff RoboCop-like suits some pieces on the high-street tend to be.

With such a variety of choice, attention to detail, quality and durability Superdry is a great brand to turn to when building or simply refreshing your wardrobe next winter. From sports-wear, through day-to-day pieces, to party outfits - you can anything your little heart desires.

The event itself was fantastic. I had the pleasure to meed the lovely people behind the brand as well as some great bloggers including Jamie from Boy Meets Fashion and Lana from FashionFake who I instantly bonded with over our love for food, fashion and cozy nights spent in pajamas. :)

Last but not least, I just want to say special thank you to Georgia from Superdry for spending such a big part of the evening telling us about the company and the inspiration about the designs. It gave me new appreciation for the young brand and I can't wait for the latest collection to hit the stores!
