A Guide to Homemade Christmas: Ginger Bites
There is a month ahead till Christmas Eve. We still have autumn weather here but next week the first snowflakes should fall. I’m not fond of white sports, nor cold and wet winter days but the white snow cover to me is mandatory to feel the Christmas spirit. As a driver I really do not miss snowfall but the child and dreamer in me is waiting for the white fairy. It is magical getting up in the early morning and looking out of the window to see the world sleeping under a white blanket.
To invite the Christmas mood I decided to make ginger bites this morning. The aroma of ginger, cloves and cinnamon is cozy and homy. It is not equal at all to just opening the box of readymade cookies. It took me about two hours to cook and decorate the bites with white icing and the season magic is here.
Make a cup of coffee and enjoy the moment with your loved ones.
