The Wardrobe: Falling Leaves and Tennis Shoes
Fall is the most beautiful time of the year, the time when the leafs change color and the air is crisp in the bright sun, the time when the rain puts you to sleep and there's nothing better than a warm cup of cappuccino on a gloomy morning. The time of pumpkins and apples, candles and cinnamon.
Fall is also the most the most favorable season when it comes to fashion. You can layer, mix patterns and fabrics, wear hats, gloves, scarves and cozy cardigans. Make a statement with a pair of rain boots or keep it classy with an elegant trench.
I wore this particular outfit for a casual walk in the park with the mission to gather fallen leafs and chestnuts to decorate our cozy little home. The gorgeous cardigan is a treasure I found in a small local boutique a few years back. I am always very happy when I get to wear it because it is one of those pieces that is not warm enough for winter and not light enough for spring or summer. I still love it though!
