It was about time for me to make a new post, I know... But I was looking for something truly inspiring to show you. And I found it. Two of my very very favorite models, one of my favorite designers and one of the best photographers in fashion. A beautiful, sexy, inspiring editorial that made it hard to catch my breath. Who says a bride should be modest? This is The Bride Whisperer!
Do you know what the traditional gift for a 15th anniversary is? Crystal! Jimmy Choo is giving us a whole Crystal Collection! Is there a better birthday gift than a whole line of glamorous, bejeweled, high-voltage shoes? Seriously, can you think of one... I can't!
Crystal Collection! And crystals there are! The vintage aesthetics and the contemporary wave are locked together to form a stunning line of art. The signature shoes that made the brand a red carpet favorite are renovated and updated to make the new generation of fashion lovers happy. And happy we are!
I promise to be a better blogger from now on... I promise I'll never let my inspiration and motivation slip away again... And I promise I'll give you all a better reason to follow and comment :)

So... I haven't been posting for a while.... There are many reasons like not enough time... lack of inspiration, etc... And now.... when I am finally back I want to change my blog a little :) So I want to ask all of you: What would be interesting for you to read and follow? What kind of posts are your favorite?:) I appreciate your comments very very much and I'll take into consideration each one of them :)
It's official! Lanvin made a collection for H&M! He's one of the many top designers who collaborated with the brand. And of course the result is gorgeous... and we all want to have every single piece filled up with the Parisian sense of style and elegance. And now we can. H&M as we all know is very affordable brand. The question I want to ask you is: Is it good or bad that top designers like Lanvin and Jimmy Choo get off the pedestal they are on to make a collection we can all afford? On one hand of course it is great! It lets us all own something designed by this top fashion designers, something that many many people can only dream of! But on the other hand, doesn't it take away all the magic around the name of the designer. After all it's still H&M although Lanvin designed it. Does it still have the same meaning when the label says "H&M"? How do you feel about it?
Here's the promotional video showing off the best pieces :) ENJOY!
And after all... when there's something this beautiful does the label matter?

There are things we tend to ignore. Like the signs that fall is coming. We close our eyes pretending not to see the leaves on the ground, we focus on the still blue skies trying to convince ourselves that summer's never going to come to an end. Our umbrellas stay locked up at home, right next to the door, but we never take them on our ways out. We keep our windows open although it is chilly during the late summer nights. We try not to notice that the days are getting shorter and the nights are getting colder. We postpone fall as long as possible. Even when it is already raining outside, the leaves have fallen down we pretend not to notice. Like autumn is going to go away if we ignore it persistently enough.
Why do we do this? What's so bad about fall? What's wrong with the change of the seasons that we pretend not to see it? Why do we shut ourselves for the upcoming season? Why don't we see the beauty and use it for inspiration instead of suffering from autumn depression? May be fall is too complicated to grasp. It's hard to see the beauty if we close our eyes. It's hard to feel inspired, if we shut our hearts. It's hard to fall in love, if we hold on to tight. It's hard to jump, if we are such cowards. It's hard to feel the rain, if we stay inside. It's hard to live the present, if we still leave in the past. It's hard to see the future, if we are not willing enough....
No matter if you like fall or not.... Here's something I am sure you're all going to like! We are all about to change our wardrobes, go shopping to fill the gaps in our fall outfits, feel inspired by the clothes we forgot we had since we locked them up not to annoy the summer sun. Here's a little glimpse of my autumn thoughts. Here's one of the reasons I want the seasons to change :)
Fall is coming. I can already feel it in the air. The sun is shining ... kissing my skin and blinding me but when I look down I can see the leaves running around my feet, playing with the summer breeze. The seasons are changing. The mood is changing. The warm summer rays are replaced by the burning sunbeams. Like the sun is angry, trying to make the fall wait a bit longer, to keep the blue skies above and the joy in the air. Fall can wait. At least a few more weeks, until the sun gets tired of fighting and steps back. Summer is joy. Autumn is artistic. Beautiful. Melancholic. It's like a woman. Has ups and downs and mood swings. But that's what makes fall the most artistic, the most fascinating, the most precious of all seasons.
Enjoy the last days of the playful and careless summer. Let the sun kiss you skin. But keep your heart open for the beautiful autumn. May be if you learn how to love her, if you see her beauty and let her charm you she won't be so lonely anymore and the joy will replace the sadness in the air. After all a woman is beautiful and fascinating because a woman is unpredictable and mysterious. Just like the fall.
P.S. The name of the shoot is "A VIE EN ROSE". These are Charlotte, Yana & Valentina pictured by Mark Seliger for US Harper's Bazaar September 2010
Glorious. The weather. My weekend. My week. My job interview on Monday. Right now everything is almost perfect. Perfection is unachievable but I am so damn close. It feels right. Almost perfect. The little cracks here and there are just reminders. Reminders I should appreciate everything I have. I should cherish every happy moment, every sunbeam kissing my skin, every smile that blooms on my lips. And you should too. Notice the small things. Pay attention to the world around you and you will see it. The little obstacles on the way are nothing more but land marks, stop signs may be: meant to make you stop and stare, look back to the past, think about the future and see everything, meant to remind you to hold your life in your hands and follow your dreams instead of letting all the beauty pass you by. You can find it everywhere. I see it everywhere. In a friend's warm smile. In someone special's lovely voice. In the look that makes you melt, in the kiss that you desire. It's a feeling. Life's thrilling. It's up to you to make it matter.
Here's a shoot that transmits the exact same feeling as my weekend so far. These are Barbora Vesela & Marion Sealy by Nicole Hill. Stop scrolling down for a bit and really look at these. Let yourself soak into the moment that the pictures captured. Stop for a second. Let yourself feel.

Hey fashion icons :) This post is going to be short. The reason: it's almost 1 a.m. here and I just got home after a whole day in the park :) So now I am tired but happy :P Anyway... enough about my day. As I mentioned in the previous post already my mom's designs are not just clothes so here are some other lovely things she made around the apartment. Enjoy!
So what do you guys think? Hope you like it :) I'd love some feedback again :)
Have good night... or a great day... depending on where you live ;)
